I'm getting a little tired of the nighttime snowfall theme here a the Room, but I'm too pooped tonight to do anyhthing about it. I'll spruce up a bit over the weekend. Hopefully I'll feel a bit more rested then, even thought we have to have my husband's car to the mechanic by 9:00 am. Heavy groan. All I want to do is stay home and rest. Oh well. Might have to make him take me out for breakfast.
I've been very tired lately. Maybe it's a winter thing, although I kind of like winter. Or maybe it's work. Whatever it is, it's keeping me from doing much in the way of posting. I come up with ideas throughout the day, but I can't seem to remember them at night, and I don't seem to be able to develop them. I have to do a lot of composing and typing at work these days. It's pretty intense stuff, so that might help to explain things. Maybe I should start to keep a notebook with me to jot down ideas as they occur to me, sort of like a dream journal. Dream journal, hmmm, that reminds me...
Goodnight, sleep tight, and pleasant dreams to you!

Merci - if you are constantly feeling tired, you might want to see your doctor, you might have some virus or something.
Pleasant dreams to you!
Here I stand, the goddess of Desire,
set men on fire,
I have this power,
morning noon and night it's drink and dancing,
some quick romancing,
and then a shower,
stage door johnnies always surround me,
they always hound me,
with one request,
who can satisfy their lustful habits,
I'm not a rabbit!
I need some rest!
I'm tired,
sick and tired of love,
I've had my fill of love,
from below and above,
tired,
tired of being admired,
tired of love uninspired,
let's face it,
I'm tired!
I've been with thousands of men,
again and again,
they promise the moon,
they always coming and going,
going and coming,
and always too soon!
Right girls?
I'm tired,
tired of playing the game,
ain't it a crying shame?
I'm so tired,
God dammit I'm tired!
I'm tired,
tired of playing the game,
ain't it a crying shame,
I'm so tired
I've been with thousands of men,
again and again,
they sing the same tune,
the start with Byron and Shelly,
and jump on your belly,
and bust your ballon!
aye!
tired,
tired of playing the game,
ain't it a friggin shame,
I'm so...
let's face it,
everything below the waste is kapput!
Virginia Gal-
I'm working on it!
Miss Magnolia-
LOVE the song! What's it from?
Darling, it's from "Blazing Saddles" sung by the great Madeline Kahn, doing her marvelous take off on Marlene Deitrich, Lily Von Shtupp. One of the best things in the movie, it got her an Oscar nomination.
Merci,
You should just blog from work ... I mean not that anyone else does that... (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)
Mags,
Great choice! Love that movie (and that song...RIP, Madeline)
Miss Magnolia and Pax-
That's one of my Mom's favorite movies. I have to admit that I've never seen it all the way through. I know, I'm a poor excuse for a movie buff!
Ohhhh I hope he did take you out to breakfast. :)
You know, I used to have the same problem with coming up with wonderful ideas to post about and then forgetting them completely before I ever get near my keyboard. I have found a quick fix and you don't even need a book or pencil! My husband got me this neat little micro-voice-recorder. It's way smaller than a cell phone and slim enough to keep in a pocket. Now, anytime an idea strikes me, I just click "record" and say it out loud.
Consider this. It's very helpful.
(of course, I've been away from blogging for so long now that you might think I'm nuts ... but think about all the ideas I have stored up in there)
Weary Hag-
Not a bad idea at all. I'll have to do some shopping!
The information here is great. I will invite my friends here.
Thanks
