I'm looking for an image of a room to use in my blog header. Any suggestions from the peanut gallery? Links appreciated. Maybe I should turn this into a contest. Hmmm...
Miss Magnolia- Love the statue in the middle of the room. Is that a tribute to one of the dear departed? An early husband, I'd guess, given the mode of transportation...
Here is my entry....I've always believed royal rooms should be for use and not just show. Besides, I'm sure Lizabet would have no problem giving you permission to use her salon.
Pax- I don't know, Pax, I don't see Miss Magnolia's Salle de Bain with bidet fitting in too well with that groovy 70's pattern. She must be quite eclectic in her tastes!
Merci - if I remember from my last trip, I believe the view is out into the garden, very lovely, with a pond. I'll probably be visiting again with Liz and Phil around Will's birthday in June : )
Virginia Gal- If I had my druthers, our next "away" vacation would be a trip to the UK (or maybe Italy). I don't think I'll get my way this time around. Looks like the West Coast might be our destination.

Here you are my darling, a recent photo of my bathroom, something simple and unpretentious.

Miss Magnolia-
And such an elegant one! Pity American bathrooms tend to overlook this detail...
Virginia Gal-
No, I'm quite sure Liz wouldn't mind sharing her room. Wonder what the view is like?
Here's the room with the lovely Magnolia during her "Pam Grier" phase!

Good Lord darling, that's nothing more than a Hippy bordello! Very outre dear.
Miss Magnolia-
You're quite right, though the 70's weren't all bad. After all, bootcut jeans are the most flattering to the feminine figure...
a contest definitely. winner should get to pick a single item from a just opened up Dollar Store.
joe-
Hmmm, but some of the items there cost more than a dollar. Might break my budget!
