Kicking and Screaming

Dinner out with friends tonight means I have to clean the house today, since we're coming back here afterwards. And boy, does it need it! And boy, do I want to escape! It's a testament to our friendship that I'm not taking off to the boardwalk right now instead of cleaning. Or heading out to our favorite little nature preserve for a walk. Today is Saturday, it's January, it's a sunny day, and it's going to be about 60 degrees outside. Who wants to stay in?

Guess I'd better get started on the housework. Maybe I'll finish with time to spare for a quick outing later in the day.

Where would you rather be right now?

I just cleaned out the trunk of my car, and then I am running to the super-market to pick up a few things, and later on I have a "house warming" to go to...

So I guess all of those jaunts back and forth to the car count as 'going outside'!

Pax-
Well, I guess it's better than nothing! Mr. M. is out on his bike as we speak.

Have fun at the house warming!

Housework Darling, is like bad sex. Every time I do it I swear I will never do it again. Until the next time company comes.

Miss Magnolia-
And you wonder why you went to all of the trouble!

I have to admit that it was nice to wake up to a sunny (if chilly) morning in a clean house.

Houswework ... boardwalk ... housework ... boardwalk ... hmmmmm, I think I'd ditch both and play on the PS2.

Kidding.

As much as I'd love to skive off, I'd do the housework.

Joe-
I wouldn't have traded with you! That's a nasty job.

Maidink-
I did the housework, and now I'm glad. Sometimes I wish I could hire someone to clean, but in reality, I probably wouldn't like it.
