A Fox in His Pocket

And I'm not talking about the George Clooney kind of fox.

CNN is reporting that President Bush has offered the post of White House press secretary to Tony Snow, a Fox Network anchor. Mr. Snow is expected to accept.

I know there was never any doubt that Fox is in bed with the White House gang (and vice versa), but this puts the final evidentiary nail in the coffin. It also shows us that Mr. Bush does not have any plans to change direction, despite the fact that US Americans are clamoring for an alteration in course.

Mr. Snow may be well qualified for the job, but the message sent by selecting a Fox anchor is equivalent to the thumbing of a nose at the president's critics. Mr. Bush, your critics are not just your political nemeses anymore, they are the majority of the American public. A little respect for us would be appreciated.

Darling, I'm not suprised in the least, that he would raid the FOX moron pool (except for Bill Hemmer), I am suprised he didn't try to nab Bill O'Reilly. The only Press Secretary I did like was Ari Fleischer and he had the good sense to get out.

As dreadful as Bush and his administration is, we'll never know the full extent of it...until his term is over and the books are finaly opened on the 8 years. When the history books are written his legacy will be...the worst President in the history of our country. We can take comfort though, if Jeb ever decides to run, he'll be run out of town on a rail sooner than get the nomination, let alone the job.

I've said it many times in the past, "I fear for the next two and a half years". I only hope I'm proven wrong.

Miss Magnolia-
I fear you are right, that we will not know the truth for years to come.

I hope we don't get stuck with Jeb. US Americans are a nutty bunch, and there's no telling what the Bush Family is capable of pulling off with all of those Skull and Bones connections.
