Lovely Lazy Saturday

Today was one of those lovely, lazy Saturdays. I slept late, went out for breakfast at 3pm, then came home and took a nap. Might take in a movie tonight. All in all, a perfect day. How did you spend your Saturday?

You just described what I would consider a perfect day. There is something strange I welcome about early fall, kind of like today, where it's gray and cloudy out - a little rainy - which seems to have a ready-made excuse to lounge and be alittle lazy.

Yesterday it was run around to sports events with the teenagers. My 15-y-o went to the homecoming dance last night...alll dressed up and looking cool. Ah to be that age again.

I spent it as I usually do darling, running from pilar to post, looking for tea cups, rhinestones and other dead people's things, to pimp on e-bay.

But I love the weekends, I allow myself to sleep in, to 3:30 instead of getting up at my usual 3am but I feel guilty about it until Monday.

I did pretty much the same. Guess I was up and out a little earlier than you, but still missed the early bird special for breakfast. Went to browse around at holiday decirations and then home for the afternoon siesta. Hope you're all well!

Joe T.- Board games - now there's something worth rediscovering!

Frank - Fall is inspiring to me. If I get a moment, I'll muse over some poetry sometime over the next few weeks. And Homecoming! Not having kids, I'd just about forgotten such a thing existed. What fun!

Miss Magnolia - If you're inclined to share your ebay store name with me (hotdachs@hotmail.com), perhaps I may indulge in a bit of early holiday shopping...

Zelda - I was up quite early, but then I slept quite late ;) I am surprised to find that I am becoming a morning person, after all these years as a confirmed night owl!

I miss lazy Saturday's...this past Saturday I worked on my stupid international paper, worked at the pavilion (my summer job), studied accounting and marketing. Joy.

Virginia Gal - I think it's your season to be busy. I know it's tough, but the it's worth it! You're up to the challenge, girl, so keep going.
