Who's A Humbug Now?

The lights are on the tree, following a moment of inspiration on Saturday morning. There are ornaments and candy canes decking her boughs, as well. The garland has yet to be bought and applied, but I'm confident that another moment of inspiration sometime very soon will result in a glorious, finished product.

Now there's more shopping to do, and gifts to wrap, and cards to write, and Christmas dinner to plan...

Zelda-
Maybe next year on the warm spot.

I'm with you on the cards, actually. Not up to the whole process this time around.

For us, tree is up and strung with lights, but no ornaments on yet! Garland and berries up, wreathe up. The whole card-writing thing? Not this year, just can't find the time. So you are in no way alone in this.

I feel like happy Christmas music should be playing in the background of this post, its nice and cheery, I could snuggle in the room with my tea and help decorate the tree!

ps - love your Dec 1, fave photo, beautiful.

It makes me sad to see paper christmas cards going the way of hand written letters. I understand it, but it still makes me sad.

If the weather would cool down a little down here in Fla. it would be a bit more Christmas-ie. Oh well, you go toward christmas with the weather you have, not the weather you wish you had.

YOU DONT NEED ANY LIGHTS ON YOUR TREE, OF LATE YOUR BEAUTIFUL GLOW IS ALL THAT IS NEEDED TO LIGHT UP A ROOM!
PLUS YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION, SO DONT WAIT FOR ONE TO ENTER THE ROOM.
THANKS FOR THE CARD TODAY

Howdy Merci,
It is now 3 ish in the am and I am concidering joining the other nut jobs in line to score the latest video game system (promised myself I would never be that guy). But money is tight and selling it on ebay could help out quite a bit. In any case I enjoyed your post and hope to catch a bit of that holiday inspiration soon.

Thanks to all of you for your comments! Things have been non-stop for me for the last few weeks, what with the holidays and Mom still at a nursing center. I'm sorry for my absences here, and I hope to do better in the New Year.
