Delivery

Went to bed late last night to heavy rain and wind. Overnight, mother nature gave birth to a winter wonderland.

Hounds in the snow (not the real thing: too cold and windy to keep them out there just to take pics):

It's 10:00 am. We're still getting steady snow and a bit of wind. My husband searched for the snowman kit (all the fixins but the snow) for about 1/2 hour. It took me about a minute to find it. It was right where I told him it would be...

He's done, but I have no camera battery :( and I can't get out to get one.

Darling, I have something in common with your hubby, we both have a "Snowstorm Kit", mine has false eyelashes, waterproof mascara, a good stout girdle, a large bottle of arsinic (never know when you'll meet your next hubby), two tins of smoked oysters, a 6 pack of Ginger Ale, 2 Depends and a 1936 copy of the New York Social Register...You know Angel, useful things for an emergency!

The 3-yr old next door did a great snowman! We old fuddy-duddys just stayed inside and watched tv, hee hee.

Miss Magnolia-
I keep the country girl's version of a "Snowstorm Kit"- flannel nightie, thermal longjohns, steel toed snow boots, smoked beef jerky, and a gallon jug of Pa's Best moonshine. It's pretty woeful compared with your cosmopolitan version, but after a few sips of the moonshine, no one notices the lack of mascara.

The 1936 social register, LOL! Best place to find the next victim, errr, hubby...

VG-
I'm with you. After I walked around the yard and down the driveway to take the pictures, I went inside and stayed there for the rest of the day.
