Day Off

Yep, those would be pink camo garden gloves. Pretty cool, huh? One of the many things I plan to do today is a bit of gardening. Later. When it's cooler. Much cooler, I hope!

And there's lots more cleaning to do, and a pie to bake, and laundry to do...It's a busy day off!

Gotta love it.

Wow, me too, a day off that is. We both know that there is nothing like serenity. I spent the morning applying stain to the picket fence and although I am not finished I am getting closer to the goal. I think I'l nap, and go out for dinner this evening.

Thanks for what you did for me at lunch yesterday. I thought how thankful I am to call you my friend. Good luck with your party, sorry I'll miss it.

I'll miss you tomorrow, too! Sorry you couldn't be here.

No prob at lunch yesterday. I'm not always so quick on my feet, but the good intentions are always there!

I was unaware they had pink camo. Where might one be trying to hide while wearing pink camo. Hope the shindig is a smashing success.

Virginia Gal-
I did! And the house is clean, and there are now plants in the planters on the back deck!

I can think of some good places for hiding out in pink camo, but I'll leave it up to the imagination...

Darling, they're just enchanting, pink makes the boys wink! What kind of pie did you bake ? I hope it was peach.

Miss Magnolia-
I baked a sour cream apple pie. Probably should have baked 2. Well, always leave them wishing for more, as my Mom says...

Three dear, sounds just heaven, I think a good piece of pie is my favorite dessert, above all.

Miss Magnolia-
It was well received, though it seemed a bit sweet to me. But then, I don't eat very much sugar anymore, so I'm not a good judge.
