There has been a considerable amount of conversation in my household related to the choice of a name for the birthday gnome pictured here. My choice was No-No, in honor of the character Jim on Vicar of Dibley, one of my favorite Britcoms (Jim's scene as the innkeeper in a Dibley Christmas pageant was classic).
My choice was Pooh-poohed, and I have refused to cave to pressure to name him Rosco or Norm. Please help out - I need suggestions!

No idea. I'd probably go with something Scandianavianish, like Lars or Sven.
That's a good idea. And I could have fun looking up Scandinavian names, or remembering the names of Norse gods. Let's see... Thor, Baldar, Odin, Loki...
how about LIEF me alone! NAH you wouldn't say that
Merci - OH MY GOD!!! WE are so friends! One of my absolutely FAVORITE shows is Vicar of Dibley, I have it on DVD. I LOVE that scene with Jim in the Dibley Christmas pageant. I also love when David makes Harrod nice, so funny : )
One of my favorite VofD scenes is during a council meeting when Owen comes late and Frank says how they are giving the Scots money and Owen gets so mad. Hilarious!
I demand you name him No-No, tell your husband he has been veto'ed. Girls and Vicar of Dibley fans rule!
No, no, no, no, yes... name him Jim.

Thought about it, but I know a Jim! He's the hubby of a very dear friend...

I love 'Vicar' but have not seen all of the episodes. I think I'll get the DVD, too!
Mommanator-
Well, he is holding a leaf...
Leaf is my Gnomination.
