Antidote

Here's a little antidote for the extreme temperatures we're experiencing right now. This photo was taken in September of 2004. It is a picture of a section of the Hubbard Glacier in Yakutat, Alaska. Wish I was there now!

Merci - that is where you guys should go! Alaska is beautiful, I went about two summers ago - you can still see the glaciers (and it is quite cold there) and also enjoy beautiful forests. Highly recommend!

Virginia Gal-
We went in September of 2004! I took the picture of the Hubbard. I would love to go back.

Darling, I swear, it's just unreal here, like the 9th level of Hell. If I sat on them, my box could melt the polar ice caps and not in a good way either!

Miss Magnolia-
LOL. If it's that hot up there, we're all in trouble!

They just said that tomorrow is going to be even hotter here.

Oh my God, I went that summer also! What a coincidence, we might have even passed each other and not known it!

Virginia Gal-
Guess it was a good year for Alaska. I wanted to see it before the glaciers were all gone!

Yes but where are the glaciers going? Joe thanks for your comments yesterday! You're OK!

Actually, this particular glacier is advancing.
