Too Stupid

Without going into great detail, I did a lot of stupid things today, some just ordinary stupid and some, well, a bit more so. Stupid does more to make you cringe, to mar your self-image, that just about anything else. The only thing that's worse than stupid is mean. I don't think I did anything out and out mean today, so there's that.

My very kind boss has already forgiven one glaring error. I guess the only thing left to do is to turn around, show up tomorrow, and be less stupid, errrrr, be brilliant, yeah, that's the ticket! Sounds like a plan. Let's see how it goes...

As someone who lives their life in utter stupidity, I am sure it was not that bad. At least you didn't slam your face into the water cooler.

Merci,
I find it hard to believe that you did anything stupid...in an office full of twits (me included), you would have to have done something akin to setting the building on fire.

I think you've been sitting in the corner long enough, give yourself a break. At least you recognized what you did, there are a lot of people out there doing stupid things over and over and over, and they remain clueless.

Darling, it only makes you human, tiny little faux pas (that's French dear) go with the territory of being Fabulous.

I recall the week when I disposed of the same husband three times before it actually took, now that's stupidity.

pissed off patricia-
You're right! And today was a much better day. Thanks for stopping by!

Miss Magnolia-
You know I'm a sucker for French ;)

Can't wait until you write your memoirs!

To make mistakes is human - give yourself a break.

Find me the perfect person and I'll show the most boring human being alive.

Virginia Gal-
Welcome back!

You're right, of course, I was just a bit embarrassed. Today was somewhat redeeming, and I feel much better.

Merci,
The office is more "brilliant" just by your presence. You'll notice that I am sucking up in preparation for the time when it'll be just you, me and Jaqueeee.
I'll miss the kids? Won't be the same without 'em.

Geez, Zelda, Don't know what I'm gonna do! Pax and joey b are kin. We'll have to schedule regular reunions!
